Fort Smith Salvation Army Under New Leadership

The Salvation Army in Fort Smith has announced Captains Bradley and Stephanie Hargis as its new leaders.

The Hargises previously served for the Garland County Salvation Army, and started work in Fort Smith on June 20, 2021.

Bradley and Stephanie met while working at The Salvation Army Camp Heart O’ Hills in Tahlequah. They were commissioned as Salvation Army officers in 2013 and have served in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Pine Bluff and Hot Springs. They have two children, Emery, 6; and Marley, 4. In their spare time, they like to ride bikes, prepare for 5Ks, and enjoy the outdoors.

The Hargis Family looks forward to meeting the needs of the Fort Smith community and ‘Doing The Most Good’ alongside the staff, volunteers, the United Way, and supporters of The Salvation Army.
