Fan Drive Donations Top 500

This summer’s fan drives have been amazing. OG&E got the ball rolling by donating 100 fans. Then Yeager’s teamed up with Life 98.7 to bring in 237 fans. To top it all off, Lowes and Spirit 106 worked together on another fan drive bringing in another 177 fans! An additional 25 fans were donated by individuals who brought them by our main office at 301 N. 6th bringing the total to 539 fans--a new record for us! As of August 31, we have given out 452 fans and fully expect for the remaining 87 to go into homes before the end of September.

If anyone is still in need of a fan, please come to The Salvation Army at 301 North 6th Street, Fort Smith AR. Between 9am and 12noon on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday or Monday afternoon between 1:00pm and 4:00pm and bring:

• photo ID, proof of all members of their household and current proof of address, (The

• proof must be dated within the last 30 days)

• One fan per address

• A person/household is eligible for a fan once every 2 years
