Meet The Captains
The Salvation Army in Fort Smith is currently under the leadership of Captains Bradley and Stephanie Hargis.
The Hargis Family previously served for the Garland County Salvation Army, and started work in Fort Smith on June 20, 2021.
Bradley and Stephanie met while working at The Salvation Army Camp Heart O’ Hills in Tahlequah. They were commissioned as Salvation Army officers in 2013 and have served in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Hot Springs, Arkansas. They have two children, Emery, 8; and Marley, 5.
In their spare time, they like to ride bikes, prepare for 5Ks, and enjoy the outdoors.
The Hargis Family looks forward to meeting the needs of the Fort Smith community and ‘Doing The Most Good’ alongside the staff, volunteers, the United Way, and supporters of The Salvation Army.
To reach out to Captain's Hargis, call The Salvation Army at (479) 783-6145 or email Fortsmithar@uss.salvationarmy.org
